World, Meet Hot SAUCE!

Hello guys, for the first time, I'm writing my blog on tumblr first. (I'll just copy it later to blogger)

I went out with my college friends today. We named the group Hot SAUCE (Spontaneous And Unbreakable? Coagulation of Entities). We have a bigger circle of friends (called Tropang Walag Gawa) but we were the ones who see each other more often.

Not all of us were available today though. We met at Gateway, Cubao. I was the last one to arrive. All four of them (‎JoyceYnaNinyo, and Grace) were waiting at McDonald's in Gateway when I arrived. The original plan was I would bring them to Starlites for a good fun KTV. When they learned that Starlites is generally a gay scene, they became, well, basically, scared. So we decided to go to Timog Instead and eat at Buddy's. Mr taxi driver decided to give us a fix charge of Php150.00, which we accepted.

Buddy's was nice. The place looks great. The food was ok. I did not enjoy my Tuna Sizzling Sisig. I thought it tasted blunt. The Pansit (I don't remember what pansit it was anymore) was ok as well.

I took pictures, of course, with my Nokia X2-00 and Joyce brought her DSLR so there was a lot of picture taking everywhere. I just learned how to link picture URL's to blogs so that's what I'll be doing. I'm uploading the pictures to Facebook and then I'll just link them here. Cool, huh?
After eating, we decided to take a walk along Timog then later ended up at Tomas Morato. After, I think, 30 minutes of walking looking for a place to go next, we decided to pursue the original plan of KTV-ing. We went to a place called Music Matches. It's near Chilli's and Don Henrico's (I think).

The singing was fun - I can't say it was good but it was a lot of fun! Justine, Grace's boyfriend came a little later. Yna and I had some photoshoot-ish. I thought I looked good on some of the pictures. I can't wait for Joyce to upload them!

When I arrived home, my facebook status was

‎Joyce Ajero, Yna Campomanes, Ninyo Diaz, Mary Corcuera and the new part of barkada, Justine Cruz, that was an amazing night with all of you...Hope it happens again soon! I had so much fun. Too much fun actually that I now feel guilty because I went out and had that much fun while Bulak is in this crisis. :( ‎...Please include her mom in your prayers.

I'll do my best to go to Bulak tomorrow. Hope everything goes well. I hope Bulak's mom gets well soon.

I'll post this now, I'll just add the pictures later.

Comfort

Bestbud, is in a "situation" right now. It would be rude for me to write about what she is going through right now but let's just say that she is really really really, extremely sad right now. She tries to smile for the photos but in her eyes, you can literally see how she feels. And it pains me to see my friend like that.

So in an attempt to divert her attention to something else, at least for a few hours, we decided to go out and do some of the things we love to do together. Eat and watch movie.

We went to SM  Marikina - the nearest mall from my place.

We decided to eat at Pancake House. It was both our first time to eat there. She decided to have Sweet and Sour Beef Something and I had what they called "House Special." Mine had a taco, spaghetti and chicken - all of which are relatively small. We were both underwhelmed. She said that the sauce of her food was good but the the meat was too crunchy she can't taste the beef anymore. She ate half of her rice and gave the other half to me. My food was unsatisfying. The chicken was cold and hard to chew, the spaghetti was nice but it was too little, the taco was the best part of it - but that's just because I started to find a new liking for tacos, nothing special. I didn't even get to finish my food - believe me, that is very rare. I don't know about Joyce but I don't think I will be eating there again.

Then we watched "I am Number Four." There was no one when we came in the movie house. Three other couples came in before the movie started. So, four couples watched I am Number Four - which I thought was cool. The movie was great. Effects was good. Storyline was fine. Abs were fantastic. Hope they do a sequel.

The day was great. Sad to say, I don't the goal was fully achieved. The situation at hand came up every so often. I don't think it's bad though. I actually think it's good. It would help her recover and move on faster. I think.

One other person who I hope would also recover quickly is Bulak's mom. She's in a hospital right now. High blood pressure. Bulak said the meds were quite expensive. I hope she gets well soon. I will always be at Bulak's side no matter what, of course.

Last Resort

I got to speak to the person who inspired me to blog again! Well, sort of speak. Thanks to Facebook. Amazing! check it out:

Cool, huh?

Good thing he brought up that "niligawan mo pala ate ko" thing. We had something to talk about. Which reminded me (I forgot I had it, until then) of the pictures of him and her sister on my journal when I was in high school. Dave looks very different on those two pictures of him in my diary compared to what I'm seeing in his Lookbook now.

The bad thing though is... this...

My heart raced when I read "PAKSYET!" My first thought was "ohmigadohmigadohmigad! Not again!" I didn't want to offend her again.

For some reason this reminds me of how I felt during the time I made that very stupid thing. It's been six years (more or less) but it's amazing how I can still vividly remember what happened. Must have been one of those character defining moments of my life.

It was the last months of 4th year high school. Everyone was looking for a date. Well, maybe not every one. I don't think my best friend Abdul even thought of bringing someone that night. But anyway, the point is that it was that moment when San Beda High School Class of 2005 were looking for, inviting or choosing a girl to date. I was one of the people who are in the "inviting" process. Mine did not go through as planned, unfortunately. Worse, I even offended the girl I wanted to be with.

Stupidly, I decided to invite her through chat. I think she said she'll think about it. Then I said I'll try to invite other girls and then I jokingly added that she would be my last resort. She was the only girl I ever asked. Of course, she turned me down and got mad. So I don't think she got the joke. :D

I always thought that ruined any chances I might have had with her at that time.

Well, I ended up without a date that night. (Along with most of my Berclimmicks friends. lol) For some reason, I don't remember if she was Marc's date that night though. Must have suppressed and forcibly erased memories of her that night due to despair and heartache. LOL.

Chiqui, were you there? Hmm. Must look for photos. :D

Come to think of it, I don't think I have any photos of myself that night. No, I don't! My god! Pathetic. LOL.

LOOKBOOK!!!

I signed up for this new website called "Lookbook." I wonder why I never heard of it before. Seems to be a very cool site for fashion conscious individuals (like me?).

Anyway, I just posted my very first look. It's the one I submitted for the Garage photo contest for Topman. Photo was taken by my bestbud, Joyce.

Foodendum

I left home early for work today. I was hoping not to ride a taxi but Lady Laziness got the better of me so I did. It was cool though. I rode an honest taxi - I mean not one of those taxis which meters run faster than the taxi itself.

This is the scene when I left home by the way.

That would be Emily, the helper, at the top most. Then my gorgeous mother in the middle and at the bottom of the pyramid (lol) would be my sister's daughter, Nicole (I'm not sure if it's called neice or nephew. too lazy to google. lol). That's what they do during their free time. More productive than just watching tv or taking siesta, right? :P

Although I left home early, I wasn't able to eat breakfast so I decided to eat something from the pantry. I went with spaghetti instead of champorado which I later regret. The thing was, quite frankly, disgusting. I forced myself to eat some so I can take my medicine for my cough and colds. I'm never buying anythink like that from them again. Never!

We had our anual Physical exam today. I found out that I'm a half inch taller! I'm now five feet and eight and a half inches tall. Another half inch more and I'm happy. For some reason I can't forget the poster from Folded and Hung a few years back. They had this model search competition and the minimum height requirement for guys is five feet nine inches. So that has always been my goal since then. I'm not really sure if I would still be growing any taller at all. Who knows.

The nurse had to take my blood pressure two times because the first one was a little high. She got 130/90 the first time when I know I'm usually 110/70. And that's exactly what she got the second time. Maybe my blood pressure went up because of that other nurse who painfully milked my finger for blood. Curse her!

We also had our eyes checked - I'm still 20/20. I always wondered what you see on that thing where you rest your chin on it and the doctor will check on the other side. It turned out, it's a hot air balloon scenery thing. Is it the same with all other machines of this kind?

Then the came the actual Physical Exam. Naturally, there's the repetitive health questions and stuff. But no, there was no touching of the balls and caressing of the legs. Unfortunately. Lol. He did take a look at it though.

The last stop was x-ray. We had to go down then out the building for it. Gilbert  was there when I arrived waiting outside the X-ray Mobile Truck thing. It was quite fancy inside - with sofa, dim lights, and all.

The rest of the night was work work work. It wasn't that bad though, not a lot of calls so we had a lot of time to rest as well. Thanks British people for not calling. :D

After work, before going home, Hazel and I decided to eat. I've been eating there for quite some time now but I just learned today that it's called "Rica's Tapsilogan."  I love the place  because it's inexpensive and the food is decent. (I just remembered the spaghetti from the pantry again. Argh!)

Bulak and I eat there every time he has to go home early morning from a sleep over before going home. For some reason, the place sells stuffed toys and other stuff that no one seems to be buying. I've been seeing these for almost a year now:

Hazel ordered "Baconsilog" (minus the sinangag) and I ordered "Chicksilog" (again, minus the sinangag, it  was served with plain rice) which she later envied me for. We talked about issues at work while eating. Gossips. Controversies. Speculations. The likes.

She also showed me her slimming capsules thing which, according to her, is working. Forgot to ask her for the name though. I'll ask her if anyone's interested. We ate happily ever after. :D

(pro-ject!)

(this is her praying for a better Fizzback. lol)

(menu)

(cholesterol. she has her slimming pills, don't worry.)

(inexpensively yummy!)

Let's start again.

I'm not really sure why I started blogging again.

Well, actually, I know why I started writing again. I was inspired by David Guison. Who is he? He's a brother of Chiqui, whom I courted (or at least I think I did) when I was in high school. For some reason I just remembered her and then of course I started browsing through her Facebook profile. And then I just decided to click on her brother's profile and then continued browsing.

And then I saw this photo:

Being a fan of the magazine, I knew right away that it is a part of the most recent issue of Garage Magazine. So I immediately grabbed my copy on my side table and looked for the page. Reread the article and then went back to his Facebook profile. That's when I saw the links to his blogs and other websites. He's quite good. Really interesting. A kind of life I would like to live, actually. And he's just 19.

So there. That is where the inspiration came from.

But the reason for me questioning my writing a blog again is because I'm not sure if there is anything much to write. My life is not really that cool. A nurse turned call center agent. What can I write about that? And more importantly, who will read my blogs. LOL.

Oh well. We'll see.

It's our 10th monthsary today, by the way. Happy monthsary Bulak!!! I love you! :D
